If you have spool of thread,,,,,,

I made the African Ribbon brooch

by using the spool of thread.

This is Japanese traditional thread,

for called "Sashiko"that is one kind of embroidery.

First I found this I really moved this nice gradation!!

もしも刺し子糸をお持ちなら・・・・

こんなにうつくしいグラデーションの刺し子の糸があるなんて！！

と、感激のあまりこれを使ってリボンブローチを作ってみました。

It's really easy,

shape like a ribbon,

then put some motif on the center,

and sew brooch pin on back side.

方法はとってもかんたんです。

糸の束をそのままつまんで好きなリボンの形にしてから、

中央を留めてお好きなモチーフを付け、

最後にうしろにブローチピンを付けるだけ＊

I was putting this on my head,

but of course it can put on bags,clothes,and so on....as you like!

刺し子糸ですが仕上がりはどことなくアフリカンですね。。。

写真では頭につけておりますが、ブローチピンが付いているので

もちろん、鞄やお洋服など お好きなところに付けられます。

かつて実際に少年兵だった子たちが実演しているので、

とても緊迫感溢れる映画。

Civil war of Liberia and child soldier's reproduction documentary.

There was very a tension feeling

because children who were actually

the child soldiers had demonstrated it before.

Compared this,too much peaceful

not only my childhood,but also now,this moment.
