Thank you Seal@GENBAGEN!!

先週、鎌倉GENBAGENでのシール展。

が無事に終了致しました。

暑い中はるばるご来場くださった、またシールをお買い上げ下さいました

たくさんの方々、恩師、お友達、

本当にどうもありがとうございました。

この場を借りて御礼申し上げます。

今回わたしは『針ナシ腕時計シール』たちを作りました。

Last week,

Seal exhibition in GENBAGEN, Kamakura had finished.

Thank you so much for many coming.

I was really happy!!

This exhibition,I had made "wristwatch without needle seal".

• マーカーや色鉛筆で描いたものを、

• スキャンしてパソコンに取り込んでプリントアウトしたもの。

• すべて透明シールになっているので、
  
  
  

• 実際に腕に貼付けることができます。

• First I drawing watches by marker and colored pencil,

• then scanning and printed out.

• You can put your wrist because these are all clear-seal.

このシールの使い方》

針ナシ、なので自分で好きな時間を書き込めるようにしてあります。

（油性ペンをお使い下さいネ）

自分が産まれた時刻とか、

なにか気に入ってる時刻の針の角度とか、

あの日のこんなことがあった印象に残っている時刻とか。

お手紙に貼って

『待ち合わせ時刻はこれね！』

なんていう使い方をしていただくのもありかなーと

思っております。

あとは、手帳や本のしおりなど。。。

《How to use these seals》

You can write favorite time by oil pen as you like!!

Foe example,Time that remains in impression

with these kind of things on angle of needle at time

that enters time when I was born or some natures or that day.....and so on.

Another,I think it's good way to use that pastes it to the letter.

'The meeting time is this. '

Or bookmark.......etc.

カルティエやオメガのヴィンテージウォッチの模写です。

These are real version.

It is a duplicate of the vintage watch of Cartier and OMEGA,,,etc.

これらのシールを、展示用に・・・・

『針ナシ腕時計ポット』にしました。

Then,I'd made "Pot of wristwatches without needles"for object.

透明腕時計シールを１枚１枚試験管に入れて、

お水を張った金魚鉢に浮かせます。

（展示後半でビー玉が仲間入り笑）

何気に金魚鉢の底には落ちちゃった針たちの絵が貼ってあります。。

なんだか時計を水にひたしちゃったみたいで、

時間捨てちゃったよーという気分に浸る。

one by one transparent wristwatch seal is put in the test tube,

and it floats it on the fishbowl that puts water.

Pictures of needles who have fallen

are pasted in the bottom of the fishbowl.

It is soaked somehow in feelings of having thrown it away

like having soaked the clock in water at time!!!

腕時計の起源は、

一般には1899年に始まった

ボーア戦争がきっかけという説が有力なのだそうですが

最近ではまたさまざまな説がもちあがっているそうで。。

ハミルトン社を始め有名時計ブランドが

うちが最初だったんだ！と争っているようですが、

どっちにしろ普及のきっかけは戦争にあるようです。

しかし女性向けのウォッチブレスレットに関しては

もっとさかのぼる歴史があり、

1571年には英国のライスター伯爵がエリザベス１世に

宝石をちりばめた円いウォッチを送っていたそうです。

1880年〜1890年代に爆発的自転車ブームがあったのちの、

腕時計の普及とブーム。

腕時計は人類初の”身につける機械”。

腕時計の登場で、お洋服の袖は若干短くなったそうです、

やっぱり 見せたいもんね。

時計の登場でのマイナス面は何だったか？？

自然が遠ざかったんではないかなあ？

自然から感じるときの流れには

鈍感になってしまったんではないかと。。

The origin of the wristwatch

In general, it started in 1899.

Boer War : so that various theories may

lift recently though the theory of chance seems to be powerful.

The chance of which Michi spread seem to be

in the war though the famous clock brand such as the Hamilton Co.

seems to fight over the origin theory.

However, there was a history of going back more

for the watch bracelet for women,

and it seemed to have sent a watch

that the Leister earl in Britain sprinkled

the jewel on one Elizabeth generation rotundly in 1571.

Spread and boom of wristwatch

after there is explosive bicycle boom in the 1880s~1890's.

The wristwatch is

the first "Machine applied to the body"

in the human race.

Some sleeves of the dress

seem to have shortened by the appearance of the wristwatch.

What was the negative aspect in the appearance of the clock?

Has not nature gone away?

I think that I have become it

by the appearance of the clock,

the hebetude the flow from nature when feeling it.
